Task burndown chart
The burndown chart is a graphical representation of the amount of work already done and work to be done.
The burndown chart is widely used in the agile SCRUM methodology.
There are two types of Burndown Charts:
- Sprint burndown chart - shows the number of completed and upcoming tasks in the current sprint.
- Burndown chart for a project release - represents the completed and upcoming tasks remaining before the release or delivery of the product being developed.
