Cobit Methodology

The Cobit methodology (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) is a package of standards and guidelines in the field of IT audit and management that are publicly available.

In IT management according to the Cobit methodology, the following stages can be distinguished:

  1. The development of an IT process strategy by the management of business units in accordance with the goals and tasks being implemented, as well as the creation of the IT process concept itself.
  2. Formation by the management of IT departments of the company's policy, including methods and techniques for implementing previously set tasks.
  3. Developing standards for workflow stages.
  4. Formation of regulations for work on a project using previously developed standards.
