Types of Hosting Control Panels

As you already know, after payment you will get access to the hosting control panel. This panel is a separate program developed by another company - not the hoster. The hoster simply bought a license for it.

There are three popular panels: CPanel, ISPManager and Plesk. Your hosting most likely has one of them installed.

These panels are paid. Moreover, the payment is on a subscription basis - monthly. But in the case of shared hosting, the panel is paid for by the hoster, and the cost is already included in your tariff.

But this is not always the case. There are hostings where, for example, the CPanel is installed, but for an additional (monthly!) fee you can install, for example, ISPManager. Such an option, as a rule, is not needed by you. This is a kind of small scam for money on the part of the hoster. Be careful!
