Factors of Website Loading Speed in PHP

In this training, we will look at common mistakes that lead to slower performance of your PHP scripts and, as a result, to a slower website loading speed.

Why page loading speed is important: the slower your website loads, the fewer users will wait for it to finish loading.

Because of this, you will lose visitors and, as a result, - money.

Many factors affect website loading speed. First of all, it is, of course, the amount of data transmitted during website loading (HTML code with text, CSS files, PHP files, and especially images). In this training, we will not analyze these aspects:)

Secondly, the loading speed is affected by the execution time of the PHP code that must be executed to obtain the HTML code of the page sent to the user. We will now focus on improving this parameter.

However, I will not show you clever tricks in the style of "10 ways to make your scripts work EVEN faster" articles - I will simply show you characteristic mistakes in the code of beginners, because of which the code works slower than it could.

In the future, when writing code, you will simply need to remember these characteristic mistakes and avoid making them. Usually, this requires only minimal changes to your code.

So, let's get started.
