Developing Your Own MVC Framework in PHP
In previous lessons, you practiced using
a ready-made MVC framework. As a rule,
this is what PHP programmers do - they take one
of the popular ready-made frameworks, study
it, and then use it. Currently,
there are 3 most popular frameworks:
Laravel,
Yii and Symfony.
The knowledge you have gained is already sufficient for studying real frameworks. If you wish or if you are short on time, you can skip the further lessons of this Book on OOP, and go straight to the frameworks.
Further in this Book, we will develop our own MVC framework in PHP. I will emphasize again, that this stage is no longer mandatory, but will contribute to reinforcing your OOP knowledge with a practical example.
So, let's start developing. In fact, you will not be developing some abstract framework, but will simply implement the functionality of that training framework that we used in the previous lessons.
You already know what functionality you should have. It remains to implement it. Let's start on it in the next lessons.
