Inserting pseudo-elements in CSS

Given a list of ul, make sure that each li has a period at the end of the text.

There is a text with tags span. Make each tag a pseudo-element in the form of a square with a side of 10px and a red background. Using absolute positioning, place these squares above the tag on the right side.
