Working with links in HTML

Now we're going to look at links. Links are the elements that make the Internet the Internet. By clicking on links, we can move from one page of a site to another. If they didn't exist, the Internet would just be a collection of pages that weren't connected to each other.

The link is created using the a tag. This tag must contain the href attribute, which should contain the address of the page to which the link leads.

Let's make a link to Google as an example. To do this, open this site in a browser, copy the page address from the address bar and paste it into the href link attribute:
