Working with Images in HTML

Now let's figure out how to place an image on your website page. The img tag is intended for this, which has a mandatory src attribute, in which the path to the image file should be specified. The tag itself does not require a closing tag.

Let's look at an example. Let's say that in the root folder of our site there is a file smile.png with a picture. Let's display it on the page of our site:
