HTTPS protocol

In the HTTP protocol, data is transmitted between users in an open form. This means that an attacker can interfere with the data transfer, intercept it or change it.

Therefore, a special secure protocol HTTPS was created to protect data. Technically, it is an extension of the HTTP protocol, in which data is transmitted in encrypted form.
