HTTP messages in browser debugger

You can see HTTP requests and responses with your own eyes in the browser debugger. To do this, go to the "Network" tab and then refresh the page. It is best to do this in the Chrome browser.

In this tab you can view the list of downloaded files, filter by each file type, and view the HTTP request and response headers.

Open the browser debugger on the "Network" tab for any website on the Internet.

View the list of downloaded files.

Find the column with the statuses of the downloaded files.

Deliberately visit a non-existent page of the site and study the statuses of the downloaded files. What can you say about them?

Click on each file in the list and examine the HTTP request and response headers.

Find the form with filters for the types of files to display.

Make the file list show only JavaScript files.

Make the file list show only CSS files.

Make the file list show only image files.
