Remote Repositories in Git

In this section, we will learn how to work with remote repositories. Such repositories are versions of a project stored on the Internet or somewhere on the enterprise's local network. In the vast majority of cases, a special GitHub site is used to store an remote repository.

Remote repositories are used to make it easy for all project participants to add their code to the project by committing to this remote repository. The rest of the participants will pull the changes they made into their local repository and continue working.

The basic principles of working with remote repositories involve sending, receiving and adding data, managing project branches. In the following lessons, we will examine these processes in detail.
